I have obtained a first class honours degree in Environmental Science from a UK University and recently completed a PhD, also in Environmental Science that was based partly in the UK and partly in Panama. My PhD specialised in the cycling of carbon and nutrients in peatlands particularly in relation to the long-term storage and release of carbon in the peat deposits. I enjoy academic writing as a chance to broaden my knowledge base whilst keeping up to date with the latest research pertaining to the world that we live in. I am an avid traveller and always take advantage of opportunities to see new places and meet new people.
