Dr Chris Andrews

About me:

My backgrounds are in Education (Post-compulsory and secondary education, educational management, teaching and learning, inclusive education, curriculum development, and educational research) and Business Studies (International Business, International Finance and Financial Management, Management and Organisational Psychology). My degrees are BA, PGCE, MA and PhD from the Open University, the University of Greenwich and Goldsmiths College, University of London. I have been lecturing in higher education institutions in the United Kingdom for thirty years. I am currently a Principal Lecturer. My teaching and lecturing experience include teaching undergraduate and supervising post-graduate students with diverse curricular interests and specialisms. I have authored and published five academic papers in Peer Reviewed Journals. I have contributed essays and chapters to recognised Undergraduate and Post-graduate books and Readings. My current research and academic interests include Lifelong Learning; Inclusion in cross-cultural contexts; Cross-cultural pedagogy; Emancipatory and Post-Colonial curricular dialogues; Power, distrust and resistance in educational research, Educational policy ethics; the ethics of educational policy and business ethics.
