Jerome Reed

About me:

I am currently working as an academic researcher in the areas of German, English and general linguistics from a cognitive, functional, and usage-based perspective, specialising in evidentiality and modality. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English and German linguistics and literature, two Master’s degrees in cognitive and functional linguistics, and I am currently completing a doctorate on the same topic. I have twice been the recipient of a prestigious grant, and as a published researcher I have spoken at international linguistics conferences on a variety of topics. Although I have lectured at university, my focus has been on academic research and writing, a trend I hope to continue in the future.
