A part-time consultant working in the field of preventative health. I have a PhD in Health Psychology from a UK University and a BSc (Hons) in Psychological Sciences. Before accepting my current position, I worked in a number of different roles in the field of cancer screening (breast, cervical and bowel cancer screening) where I gained extensive knowledge about the NHS Cancer Screening Programme and how it is actually operated including Health Behaviour. I have given a number of lectures on screening. I have a particular interest in health behaviour and examining reasons why people decide to either reject or accept their routine screening invitations. In the future, I would like to explore in more detail whether the actual service delivery is sensitive to people’s needs.
