“Notes of a Native Son” is a publication of several essays printed in various periodicals. James Baldwin was among black activists and took part in the Civil Rights Movement. Actually, in his essay says, “I was in the Defense plant during the death of my father; thus, I decided to write the ten essays illustrating the victory and power of African” His book shows that most people who were working in the army plant were southerners and White. However, Baldwin has been the only black. He had to use all the strategies to maintain his position in the military. Therefore, he decided to publish his first hypothesis, basically focusing on the Africa American race.

Baldwin’s main focus was to ensure justice and fair judgment is applied to both Americans and black people. According to his opinions, he argues that mental ability is more superior and powerful to biological weapons (Phung, et al.; 2020). He mainly uses interdisciplinary metaphors to elaborate anger and social impacts. According to his arguments, Baldwin was highly motivated in writings; he believed writing is the only way he can express African interests, especially during the struggle. Basing his personal opinion, White people thought were more superior than black, the author tries to elaborate more concerning the racism in America. Under his developing stage, Baldwin has written several critique arguments, mainly focusing on better social life for black and white people. However, most of his stories are relational between his father and his personal opinion. Baldwin’s aspirations and determinations in writing also place him in the social and political ground. Additionally, Baldwin was an essayist and political novelist since he used critical arguments to respond to political issues.

Around 1963, Baldwin published a critical novel revolving around socialism’s new life involving all African American people. According to him, the article addressed both political and social issues that were becoming more envious of the black people. According to the book, when Baldwin returned to America, he spheres headed the release of all African American people, thus braving a mob attempt to change American diplomacy aspects towards black people. The movement involved his contributions and ideas, emphasizing racial equality to all people despite their color neither gender. Additionally, joining CORE encouraged Baldwin to travel to several places lecturing his views of racial inequality since it affected most people in America and European countries.

James Baldwin says it was a time of brownout since lights in American towns seem to be dim. It simply means everything in America was undergoing some radical changes (Warren, et al.; 2018). From his book, “The Fire NextTime,” he says that “You were born where you were born and faced the future that you faced because you were Black and for other reason.” This illustrates his confidence and braveness despite been a black person (Shi, et al.; 2021). According to his perspective, James Baldwin recognizes black people as more intelligent compared to the White. Also, Baldwin argues that personal ambitions and determinations should not be limited by minor challenges since society and the nation depend on you.
