She had a magnificent ability to do better in the sport only that she did not get a chance to do so. The participant helped the research establish some facts on the topic of discussion. Her knowledge of health and the role of sporting activities in boosting wellness will prove vital for the study. The data collection method used was qualitative in nature, as it relied on structured interviews. Qualitative analysis is essential in research as it reveals crucial data necessary for interpretation. Structured interviews were prepared prior to the research. The role of the interviews is to collect valuable information on gender and how it has impacted sporting activities globally (Deutscher, Dubbert and Salentin, 2018). The interviews were structured with a set of thirty logically questions for the respondent. Structured interviews provide a significant opportunity for a researcher to analyze vital data.

The process of recording the interview was facilitated by a cam recorder, which provided a chance for transcription (Terry, Hayfield, Clarke and Braun, 2017). The interview took place home after visiting the participant in the study. The most important part of the process was to seek consent to conduct research. Any research must be encompassed by ethical considerations that should be made. Seeking consent is part of ethics associated with such type of studies. After the interview, transcription was necessary to retain the true meaning of the interview (Cormack, Postăvaru and Basten, 2018). Analysis of the transcribed information was necessary in a bid to establish facts within the data that are necessary. Obesity can be avoided by taking part in daily physical exercises, which are normally part of sporting activities. There are games within the sporting arena that are considered feminine, while others are meant for both men and women. Institutions of learning should be at the forefront, championing for equality of gender in sporting activities (Claringbould and Knoppers, 2012). Equally, there is a rising interest of women involvement in sports as globalization has taken effect.

The results obtained are consistent with previous works done by other researchers. This is because research conducted agrees with findings from the study and the interview.

Limitations for the study include inadequate time to conduct more interviews as they are time-consuming. Time is an important resource in research and using structured interviews might consume much time, covering a few individuals. Equally, the results could be affected by the use of fewer individuals as a sample. For instance, the study utilized one participant in the interview, which puts the validity of information collected in jeopardy. Such limitations hinder the possibility of the research obtaining the actual results (Tannenbaum and Bekker, 2019).
