I am a qualified, registered medical doctor with a licence to practice in the UK. I am a full-time public health medicine and epidemiology expert with long-term experience of working in the UK National Health Service and in Local Government. I have Masters’ degrees from London and Oxford in the disciplines of international health, tropical medicine, global health and epidemiology. I also have a Doctor of Philosophy degree in public health from Oxford University. During my spare time I volunteer at health charities that work to strengthen health systems and build capacity for population health improvement in developing countries.
