About me:

I have a strong academic background. I have recently completed my MRes Translational Medicine (Pharmaceutical cancer) from the University of Manchester with a distinction for my dissertation. I have also completed a Bachelor’s degree in biotechnology, chemistry and zoology with distinction. I have been exposed to a wide variety of subjects and am confident that I can communicate effectively about subjects such as oncology, drug metabolism, toxicity, biochemistry, DNA damage and repair, molecular biology etc. I have a special interest in diabetes and cancer research. I have experience in the pharmaceutical industry; currently, I am working as a research assistant and my work mainly involves protein purification and sequencing. I also have experience in presenting seminars, developing posters and writing literature reviews for various institutions.
