Sophie Richards

About me:

I am a currently a full time academic writer, with an MSc Degree in Forensic Psychology, a postgraduate diploma in Social Psychology and Child Development and a BSc Degree in Applied Psychology and Computing. I am currently working towards the publication of my MSc Thesis, for which I received a distinction and a recognised university award. I plan to start my PhD in the next 18 months, building on from the findings of my MSc dissertation. My personal research interests are predominantly in the detection of deception in young offenders, lay individuals and professionals’ ability to detect deception, CBCA and SVA. Sociological research, legal issues and policy are also areas in which I have a keen interest. I have worked as a Psychology A level teacher over the past four years and also privately tutor undergraduate and postgraduate students.

I have a strong interest and flair for writing in Biology, Childcare, Literature, Criminology, Cultural Studies, Criminal Justice Studies, Education, Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Psychology & Computing (AI/HCI), Quantitative Methods, Social Work, Sociology and Statistics (SPSS).
