I come from a pharmacology, drug development and tropical medicine background and have degrees from the University of Portsmouth, Queen Mary, the University of London and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. I am currently working in a research laboratory teaching Parasitology and Entomology and will soon be starting my PhD in Malaria Epidemiology. I am a part-time science tutor to secondary school children because I enjoy helping people understand science-related subjects and passing on knowledge. In between my studies, I have worked for cancer research, investigating breast cancer in mice.
